-
Love inspiration is a message on a wing
If our love died would that be the worst thing?
I see my red head, messed bed, tear shed, queen bee, my squeeze
A jeder is so wia'ra is und koana sagt dass einfach is
Beim zweiten Himbeereis sagt man sich Du
and there were more than one or two
On the National Express - Let's go!
-
Waiting for the bell to ring
Short change, fumble
Dial-a-heart trouble
And I ain't got time for searching through the rubble, oh no
Well, I know-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh
Communication let me down
And I'm left here.
Where they pour Coca Cola just like vintage wine
Now I try hard not to become hysterical
But I'm not sure if I am laughing or crying
I wish that I could push a button
And talk in the past and not the present tense
And watch this hurtin' feeling disappear
Like it was common sense
It was a fine idea at the time
Now it's a brilliant mistake
Bissal Glück, bissal Pech, I hob Zeit, manchmal ned, mei so bin i
I kimm z´spad, i bin müd, i hob Angst hock in meim Keller, trotzdem kimm i
Deng a di, deng an mi, deng an uns und denk ganz schee oft ans Essen
Und trotzdem is da Himmel blau a wen i manchmoi zwieder schau, soo blau.
A Jeder is so wia´ra is und koana sagt das einfach is
The calloused skin on my hands is cracking
If our love ends, would that be a bad thing?
And the silence haunts our bed chamber
You make me do too much labour
All day, every day, therapist, mother, maid
Nymph then a virgin, nurse then a servant
Just an appendage, live to attend him
So that he never lifts a finger
24-7, baby machine
So he can live out his picket fence dreams
The stage it smells, tells
Hell's bells, miss-spells, knocks me on my knees
It didn't hurt, flirt, blood squirt, stuffed shirt, hang me on a tree
After I count down three rounds, in Hell I'll be in good company
Dead love couldn't go no further
Proud of, and disgusted by her
Push, shove, a little bruised and battered
Oh Lord, I ain't coming home with you
Take the National Express when your life's in a mess
It'll make you smile
All human life is here
From the feeble old dear to the screaming child
From the student who knows that to have one of those
Would be suicide
To the family man
Manhandling the pram with paternal pride
And everybody sings, "Ba-ba-ba-da"
We're going where the air is free
Zu Hause geht es nicht. Man wohnt möbliert
